# Utilize receive address to separate assets and funds

We recommend that you store Atomicals and Bitcoin in separate wallets. With the receiving address feature of bitatom, this can be easily accomplished:

#### Funding receive address

When listing Atomicals for sale, you can set a `funding receive address.` By default, this is the address of the wallet currently connected. Once your listing is successfully traded, the funds will be transferred to the address you've set.

*It's important to note that listing doesn't require transaction fee, only signature.*

#### Item receive address

When buying Atomicals, you can set an `item receive address`, which by default is the address of your current wallet connection. After the transaction is completed, the Atomicals will be sent to the address you have specified.
